I'm Keisha Shepherd Morgan State alumna, podcast host, and someone who believes AI should serve the people who've always had to build with less.
I am a Morgan State University alumna, a former chapter president, and the founder of Mystery AI. I started this company because I watched brilliant HBCU leaders the kind of people who build entire communities on their backs struggle to keep up with a technology shift that was never designed with them in mind.
I've spent time building AI systems for my own work, testing what actually holds up outside of a sales pitch, and sharing what I learn with the people who need it most: HBCU alumni, founders, entreprenuers, and community leaders who are already doing the work and just need the right tools to do more of it.
AI should not be a luxury reserved for the well-funded. It should be a tool for the mission-driven. That belief is what shapes everything I build now the podcast, the community partnerships, and the conversations I show up for.

Mystery AI isn't a consulting firm. It's not here to sell you a framework or a package. Right now, my focus is simple: have real conversations on the Mystery to Mastery Podcast, and show up for the community that shaped me in the rooms where alumni, students, and leaders are actually building something.
Building alongside the institutions and people who make this work possible.

Mystery AI sponsors the 2026 Morgan STEM Expo featuring OIC of America. We are responsible for recruiting alumni and community volunteers interested in showing K-12 students in MD, DC, and VA the possibilities available to STEM majors at The National Treasure.

We sit on the Steering Committee working to reconnect engineering alumni with the university, strengthening the pipeline between graduates and the school that trained them.

We lead AI workshops and trainings through ELM Lab, Morgan State's research initiative for hands-on experimentation with language models, bringing practical AI skills directly into the community, not just theory.

The Mystery to Mastery Podcast brings HBCU leaders, founders, and experts into one conversation no jargon, no overwhelm, just what's actually working. If you want to hear the ideas behind Mystery AI in practice, this is where they live.
