PRIVACY POLICY

Last Updated: May 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Mystery AI, LLC, doing business as the Mystery to Mastery Podcast, collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit our website, submit a guest application, sign up for our email list, or engage with our content across digital platforms.

By using our website or submitting any form, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our site or submit your information.

01. WHO WE ARE

Mystery AI, LLC is a media and education company headquartered in the United States. We operate the Mystery to Mastery Podcast, a community-centered storytelling and visibility platform for Historically Black College and University (HBCU) alumni, leaders, founders, educators, and mission-driven professionals.

Our platform includes the podcast, guest application process, email communications, workshop registrations, and associated digital content.

For questions about this policy, see Section 11.

02. WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect information in two ways: directly from you, and automatically through website technology.

Information you provide directly:

  • Name and email address when you sign up for our email list or submit a contact form

  • Full name, email, phone number, organization, title, headshot, biography, website, and social media links when you apply to be a podcast guest

  • Any additional information you voluntarily include in forms or correspondence

Information collected automatically:

  • Internet Protocol (IP) address and general location data

  • Browser type, device type, and operating system

  • Pages visited, time spent on pages, and links clicked

  • Referral source (how you arrived at our website)

  • Audience data collected through the Meta Pixel tracking tool

03. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To process guest applications and schedule podcast recordings

  • To send email newsletters, episode announcements, and community updates

  • To send reminders and operational communications related to scheduled recordings

  • To improve our website and understand how visitors engage with our content

  • To build and manage custom advertising audiences on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram)

  • To measure the reach and effectiveness of our content and promotions

  • To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for purposes beyond what is described in this policy without your consent.

04. META PIXEL AND AUDIENCE TRACKING

Our website uses the Meta Pixel, a tracking tool provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. (the company that operates Facebook and Instagram). The Meta Pixel collects data about your visit to our website and sends it to Meta so we can:

  • Measure how people find and interact with our content

  • Build custom audiences for advertising on Facebook and Instagram

  • Retarget people who have visited our site with relevant content

  • Improve the performance of paid promotions

This means that if you visit our website, Meta may use that information to show you advertisements on Facebook or Instagram, or to include you in audience groups used for advertising purposes.

The Meta Pixel operates under Meta's Data Policy. You can review Meta's privacy practices and manage your ad preferences at facebook.com/privacy.

To opt out of Meta audience tracking:

  • Adjust your ad preferences in your Facebook account settings

  • Use a browser extension that blocks tracking pixels

  • Contact us using the information in Section 11

05. EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS

When you subscribe to our email list or submit a guest application, we add your email address to our contact database managed through GrowthHub365, our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and email platform.

We may send you:

  • Episode announcements and podcast updates

  • Workshop and event invitations

  • Community news and educational resources

  • Recording reminders and scheduling communications if you are a guest

  • Occasional promotional messages for paid offerings

Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time. Operational emails related to a confirmed recording or event may continue until that engagement is complete.

06. HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. Our website uses HyperText Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) encryption for data transmission. Our platforms and tools are maintained by reputable third-party providers with their own security standards.

No system is completely secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access will never occur. If you have concerns about the security of your information, please contact us using the information in Section 11.

07. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Our website and operations rely on third-party platforms. Each platform operates under its own privacy policy. The primary platforms we use include:

  • Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook and Instagram): Audience tracking and advertising

  • GrowthHub365: Email marketing, Customer Relationship Management, and scheduling

  • Riverside: Podcast recording and video production

  • Google Analytics (if applicable): Website traffic analysis

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any platform you use.

08 . YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES

You have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you

  • Request correction of inaccurate information

  • Request deletion of your information from our systems

  • Opt out of marketing email communications at any time

  • Opt out of Meta Pixel audience tracking (see Section 4)

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 11. We will respond to all requests within a reasonable timeframe.

When you unsubscribe from our email list, your contact information is removed from active marketing. Some platforms retain a suppression record to ensure you are not accidentally re-added to communications you have opted out of.

09. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Mystery to Mastery is designed for adult audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through our site, please contact us immediately so we can remove it. Our Meta Pixel audience tracking does not target children or anyone under the age of 18.

10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our practices change or as required by law. When we make changes, we will update the Last Updated date at the top of this page.

If we make a significant change that affects how we use your personal information, we will make a reasonable effort to notify you by email if you are on our list.

We encourage you to review this page periodically.

You may disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not function properly if you do so.
